THE BEST BLACK FRIDAY 2020 SALES & CODES

As you all know I don’t celebrate Christmas but I absolutely love this time of year; There’s just a shift in atmosphere, mostly a shift towards positivity & hopefulness and they’re the kind of vibes I like in my life, especially after this crazy year. Another thing I love about this time of year are the beautiful gift sets that hit the stores and of course the sales!

Sales during this time of year can be an overwhelming time, and I would like to start by reminding us all (with a lot of love), that we gotta be wise with our spending; we mustn’t allow the pressures of Black Friday / Cyber Monday / sales put us into a financial rut. I know they say ‘money doesn’t bring you happiness’ but huns neither does being broke! Even though Black Friday is on the 27th of November I'm starting early as I can see the sales coming through already, plus it's always better to start early. I plan on keeping this blogpost updated as and when the stores post their sales! (At the bottom I will list the most recent date it's been updated, and will announce every update on my instagram stories so be sure to follow along.)

Let me talk you through how I’ve categorised this blogpost. I’ve started by featuring the brands & products I consistently wear such as Ted Baker, H&M, Marks & Spencer etc. first because these are what I consider as timeless; they’re things you’ll find in my wardrobe all year round. Then I will share all the sales of stores I also love but shop from a little less regularly.

As you can probably know already, especially if you follow me over on instagram, I'm slightly obsessed with Ted Baker as their products really do pass the test of time. MARKS & SPENCER

Marks & Spencer, a classic favourite of mine, currently have 30% off selected womenswear, homeware and menswear.

I link my childhood with it as it was and still is my mums favourite and go to store. I find black Friday deals is a great opportunity to invest in those forever-lasting cosy items such as cashmere jumpers and luxuroius large fa ux fur throws. I also love the homeware at Marks & Spencer; only recently my mum and I picked up some gorgeous pasta bowls and cereal bowls.

JOHN LEWIS

John Lewis is one I like to regularly check this time of year as its great to pick up any household items. This time last year I picked up a Dyson vacuum which has honestly been one of my best and most life-changing purchases. The Dyson vacuum rave is so real. I also like to keep an eye on the fragrance sales: they make for amazing gifts / best time of year to stock up if it's for yourself.

With H&M being quite an affordable store as it is, and mainly selling fast fashion I never used to turn up for the black Friday sales. But over the past few years it's shown to have more classical and timeless items; their fitted blazers are a favourite of mine. Plus it's always a good idea to stock up on some the basics, especially as someone who prefers to dress modestly. I've also been swooning over their homeware ever since it's been introduced.
