OUTFIT INSPIRATION - LYDIA ELISE MILLEN AND HER MORRIS & CO AND H&M COLLABORATION

This outfit (in the photo above) is inspired by the gorgeous Lydia Elise Millen and her recent collaboration with H&M. The iconic and royal prints of the original Morris & Co in collaboration with h&m have brought a whole new level of classical and timeless style. What I love the most about this collaboration is that it's borderline that sort of boho vibes but with a hella lot more elegance, which is a hella lot more me.

I must start with saying that I absolutely love the autumnal touch the pieces from this collaboration automatically give to an outfit, especially to the plainer pieces stocked in H&M already. I purchased the wide leg trousers that Lydia wore (and looked insanely DIVINE), and they are just perfect! The material is mainly viscose which allows the trousers to drape, and float beautifully which is exactly what you want in a pair of wide leg trousers. It's also a thick yet breathable fabric which makes it perfect for both autumn/winter as well as spring/summer! There isn't much stretch to the fabric which makes the trousers true to size, so I would recommend getting your usual size. I paired them with a bright pair of hot pink (yes I have a wild side sometimes haha) heels and a cream jumper. I also think they'd look amazing with a nude pair of heels too.

Anyway, here's a lil blogpost - I thought I'd share some of my favourite picks from the collaboration and how I'd casually style them! And darlings it's all H&M (yes, your welcome! ).

I love pairing pretty flared skirts with a cosy knit jumper. I always tuck it in or make sure its cropped - so it gives a more of a fitted/ cinched look which I find more flattering and makes me feel hella cute! This style is so chic yet comfy - I always reach for it when I'm at home.

Layering jumpers over a gorgeous shirt dress such as this one from the collaboration is another comfy yet stylish go-to option. For a more modest look I'd pair this with a cute pair of wide leg pants in the same petrol blue colour as the dress ( you'll find these in marks and spencer sisters) or the same cream.

And of course absolutely obsessed with pairing a pair of wide leg pants with an oversized jumper! There's just something so timeless and elegant about wide leg trousers.

Just want to add that some of these pieces may sell out really fast, but it's always good to keep a link as a tab on your phone/ laptop and give it a quick check regularly as they're constantly being updated and you never know when it comes back in stock or is returned by somebody! Also don't forget you could pop in store or give them a quick ring and reserve the item you want!

What are your favourite picks from this collaboration? And how would you style it? Would love to know - leave a comment below, drop an email (pinkserenityx@gmail.com) or DM me on instagram darlings!
